In his 30+ years of filmmaking, cult figure, producer/director and head of Troma Entertainment Lloyd Kaufman has personified the spirit of independent film. Troma is ubiquitously known as the leader in shock/exploitation movies and have helped to launch the careers of many now-famous celebrities including Kevin Costner (Sizzle Beach, U.S.A.), Samuel L. Jackson (Def by Temptation) and Marisa Tomei (The Toxic Avenger). As a filmmaker, Lloyd Kaufman has accumulated a remarkable list of credits, as well as a more extraordinary list of debts to loan sharks and pawn shops across New York.

On December 8th, The Alamo Drafthouse Lake Creek is proud to present the regional premiere of Troma’s latest gem, Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead, with a LIVE appearance by Lloyd himself.
